What's A Cinemagraph, Mike?
A cinemagraph is a combination of a static image and a video. It almost seems like an optical illusion when you first see it; bewildering. I'm sure you've seen one before, though. You're so wise and cultured.

I took roughly 360 individual photos at regular intervals on the shores of Lough Leane in Killarney National Park. I took those photos inside my computer and smashed them together in LR Timelapse 5 to make a timelape video. Then, I brought the timelapse into Photoshop, and though a method of duplicity and cloak-and-dagger, I hid the moving water and passing boats (also, me standing into the frame for a few shots, like an eejit), behind a still image. Finally, I created an infinite loop of the clouds moving.
